While I Was Out...

All the news that's been fit to blog about for the past few days, except I haven't had time yet:

• I couldn't let this week go by without saying Happy Birthday, Mozart! It's no accident that his music has survived the test of time.


• As noted in many places yesterday: America won't forget you, Challenger Seven. Also on the subject: 7 Myths of the Challenger Disaster.


• Now this is just cool: iTunes U, also known as professors' lectures via podcast.


• Believe it or not, Waco is getting a Hooters this week. The local Baptists may not like it, but a local Catholic priest is giving the place an official blessing. (Key quote: " I think Hooters is just one of those commodities people should use in moderation.”--another local priest, now retired)

I had more stuff to blog about, but it's escaping me at the moment, so I'll try and catch up some more in the week ahead.
