A Few Quick Animal Stories

Reviving a feature of my old radio show while I continue to have a busy week at camp...

• Trained animal acts are one thing, but a red panda at a Virginia zoo is impersonating Houdini at the moment.


• A baby kangaroo--so young it was still wearing a diaper--was found safe and sound this week after disappearing from an exotic animal farm in Wisconsin.


• UPDATE: Here's another one: There was a traumatic moment at a kids' camp in California when a mountain lion ate one of the goats in the camp's petting zoo.
