just realized that I've stockpiled quite a few Kids Say the Darnedest
Things quotes that never got posted during the year...so I'll post one
of them every school day from now till the end of the public school
semester (unless any new ones come up). Here's the first one, from a high schooler...
KID: We watched a "visual representation" in English class.
To "enhance our understanding" of To Kill a Mockingbird. Because we're not allowed to watch "movies."
(For everything in quotes above, the kid was making air quotes with his fingers.)
